The Southern Caribbean are a series of islands in the West Indies that lie of the South American mainland.  The region is bounded by Saint Lucia at the north, Barbados to the east, Trinidad and Tobago to the south and Aruba to the west.

Because the distance from Miami to the Southern Caribbean is significant, cruise durations are much longer.  In general, it takes two full sea days to sail from Miami to the Southern Caribbean.

Popular ports-of-calls in the Southern Caribbean are the following:

  • Aruba
  • Barbados
  • Bequia
  • Bonaire
  • Curacao
